| Abstract: |
This is a bond made to the government by Kanaka Siṃha Khatrī Chetrī, a trustee of the Bandipura Dhārā-pānī Guṭhī in respect of serving drinking water to the wayfarers at the Cautārā (a resting place with well or spring) instituted by Koṭe Rānī of Tahahũ donating the lands for its maintenance. As revealed in the document, the trustee is also obligated to repair the rest-house and indemnify the materials, thereof in case of any loss or theft or damage sustained and expense incurred otherwise he is liable to be punished. |
