Abstract: Commander-in-Chief Dhīra Śamaśera in the year 1914 saved Laxmaṇa Bhaṭṭa from attack of the Muslims at Lucknow and brought to Kathmandu as priest. His son Nārāyaṇa Bhaṭṭa, who was appointed as chief priest of Tripureśvara Mahādeva in V.S. 1958, complains against the misdeeds of the junior priest Umānātha Bhaṭṭa at the temple.
