| Abstract: |
This is a supplication to the Guṭhī Jā̃ca Office made by Hirā Lāla Pradhāna, a former trustee of the devotional singers of the Tripureśvara Mahādeva Guṭhī set up by Queen Tripurasundarī. The petitioner prays to the office that he and his brother be retained their former membership of the Bhajana Guṭhī. He claims that they were unjustly dismissed from services without due consideration of the supporting documents like the lālamohara and charter and land as remuneration granted to his grandfather in appreciation of his services to the guṭhī. Further some 18 person’s involved in this guṭhī were also exempted from corvee. But the Guṭhī Jā̃ca Office rules out any action to be taken in response to the petition of Hirā Lāla Pradhāna as there had been already appointed to the vacant position of the guṭhī. |
