Abstract: This is a transcript of the copper-plate inscription by King Girvāna Yuddha Vikrama Śāhā issued to Bhotu Pāde, a Kaparadara (in charge of the king’s wardrobe). This document presents that the land along with the dense forest of the paragana district, Mahottari was granted to him as free of taxes as a form of emolument as he has consecrated the charitable inn at Pakanajola, Kathmandu to commemorate his forebears and to support the maintenance of the Sadāvarta Guṭhī.
