| Abstract: |
This is a rukkā (a short note) of Prime Minister Jaṅga Bāhādura Rāṇā issued to Raghuvamsa Girī. It has retained him for the post of the Mahanta of the Tāja Maṭha under the recommendation of Mahanta Iśvara Girī as the former Mahantas namely Bhima Girī and Bihāri Girī have been found guilty of adultery contrary to the ethics of the Maṭha. Thus they were dismissed and put in fetters on the charge of their defamatory acts. This is a duplicate copy preserved in the Bhadrakāli. |
