| Abstract: |
This is a copy of the lālamohara (royal document) of King Surendra Vikrama Sāha issued to all people of Bhaktapur, Taucatola authenticating sale of a low land and a small house for Rs. 146. The tax as a payment to the state amount to Rs. 19 and odd at the rate of the 10 percent out of the total amount of money including Rs. 2 and 16 paisā as fees. The buyer named Mahanta Iśvara Girī of the Vakulahara Matha is empowered to use the land as sunā birtā by payment of revenue as the 12000 people of Bhaktapur every year. |
