This lālamohara of King Rājendra stipulates that the people of Deopatan be exempted from any payment except those relating to the dues payable to the bhaṭṭas (priests) and to Paśupatinātha and the tenants of the trust land of Jayavāgeśvarī are required, to take care of the temple of Jayavāgeśvarī. The remuneration for the various persons involved in the rituals is specified. |
