Abstract:

This inscription records Vīra Nārāyaṇa Siṃha, a trader residing at Mūlacuka, commissioning the construction of a temple in honour of goddess Mahālakṣmī and installation of a golden finial atop the temple in NS 821 (1701 CE). He also donates 2 ropanīs and 3 javās of land at Thasikhyaḥ for observing annual worship of the deity and appoints three persons as caretakers for carrying out the annual function.
