| Abstract: |
This rukkā (executive order) of the premier counter-signed by the commander-in-chief instructs the Dhanakuṭā court to take legal steps against the poachers in the forests of the hills and the Tarai. A poacher guilty of killing a peacock shall be fined rupees 100 for the first offence and six months imprisonment for the second offence. The poacher belonging to the Satāra tribe using bows and arrows for hunting shall be dealt with as provided in law. |
