Abstract: As recorded in the copper plate inscription, King Pratāpa Malla has made a grant of 43 3/4 ropanīs of land, the income which was to be used for the purpose of providing votive materials for the Pañcamṛtasnāna (ritual bath), oil to the round rows of lamp illumination, ritual worship and instrumentalists during the Śivarātrī festival.
