Abstract: This is a letter written by Bakhat Singh Basnet from Ḍaḍeldhurā to General Bhīmasen Thāpā reporting that the Britishers are ready to capture Bharatpur following a request from the imprisoned brother of the king of Bharatpur. In this, it is stated that the king of Bharatpur had previously imprisoned his brother, now after king's death, his brother came out of prison and requested the Britishers.
