| Abstract: |
This copper plate first records the donation of 16 ropanīs of land in Sā̃khu executed on the 14th of the waxing moon of the month of Māgha in NS 821 for the purpose of the pūjā of three different shrines, namely Paśupatīśvara, Svacchanda Bhairava and Keśaveśvara made to Keśava Bhaṭṭa. Then it records a grant of five ropanīs of land made on the 14th of the waxing moon of the month of Phālguna in NS 840 in order to conduct the pūjā of Vatsaleśvarī. Again it documents a land grant of four ropanīs made on the new moon of the month of Śrāvaṇa in NS 844 for the annual śrāddha to be held in Gokarṇa. For the last time it records a grant of seven ropanīs of land made on the 3rd of the waxing moon of the month of Caitra in NS 845 for conducting the pūjā to Vajrayoginī and Bhairava. However, it is to be noted that no mention of donors is made in the present document. |
