Type of writing support: Stone slab; The stone slab is built into a wall inside the sanctum.

Text legibility: Legible; The language of the text is very unusual. It is very different from the usual old Newar language that is found in inscriptions of the Kathmandu Valley and is very difficult to understand or to make sense of. The scribe of this inscription appears to have attempted to compound words, a characteristic adopted by Sanskrit, that is unusual for the Newar language; There is a vertical line around the middle that appears to be a crack. The embossed image of the mace (gadā) at the top is covered with vermillion powder.
