Abstract:

It is a record of installing a new statue of Lord Gaṇeśa, the Sthānagaṇeśa of Tāpā Hīti locality, in NS 907 (1787 CE) that replaces the statue previously installed at the temple. The donor is a local resident named Kṛṣṇa Siṃha Bhāro.

Type of writing support: Stone slab; The stone slab is built into the eastern wall of the temple complex.

Text legibility: Mostly legible; A few letters are illegible due to chips coming off the stone; Parts of the edges of the inscription are covered by cement at the time of posting it to the wall. Chips have come off at some places. The embossed idol of Ganedyaḥ at the top is covered with vermillion powder.
