| Abstract: |
This lālamohara of King Pṛthvi Vikrama confirms the office of the abbot of the monastery of Kapileśvara in the district of Mahottarī in favour of Mahanta Śivaśaṅkara Girī whose spiritual teacher Balarāja Girī was conferred on the office through an lālamohara. Śivaśaṅkara Girī is authorized to take possession of the valuables of the monastery, its slaves, horses and the elephants and other things. Out of the produce from the rent of the trust land, he is to operate the routine rituals of the deity housed in the monastery distribute alms and pay the dues as have been done. He is entitled to enjoy if any residue is left. |
