Abstract: Hugh J. Wilkinson, the first British Envoy in Nepal, responds to a letter of Prime Minister Candra Śamśera through which the latter requested help regarding the investment of several lakhs of rupees for two trusts: the Great War Memorial Tri Chandra Hospital Fund and the Slave Emancipation Fund. Wilkinson advises the Prime Minister to invest the money directly into stock certificates.
