Abstract: A stone inscription situated at the east of the sanctum entrance records the offering of a stone icon of Buddha to Vantavāhāra Sūryavanta Mahāvihāra by Amaradeva Citrakāra and his wife Rājyeśvarī. Tārādeva also contributed one deity. Furthermore, it mentions the allocation of two ropanīs and 3 javās of land of Taratakobu for performing the annual ritual of Buddha of Vantavahāra, along with specifics regarding offerings.
