Abstract: This is a letter from Nihā Giri Gusāhi to Kuvyera Bhāthi Gusāhi inquiring about the smallpox epidemic in Nepal. He mentions that the horse has been stopped from traveling at the Tigiri ground. Some goods have already been sold. However, it has been difficult to sell coral, and he notes that trade is no longer like it used to be. Six long necklaces (mālā) are still unsold. He advises Kuvyera Bhāthi Gusāhi not to rush and assures him that the goods are safely kept. He encourages him to collect payments properly from Jay and others. He warns that if payments are not collected even after sending such messages, it will be difficult to recover the money later. He also remarks that there is currently no active trade in the region. Additionally, he lists the types of gold and their rates. Finally, he requests to send information regarding the current trade conditions of Nepal.
