Content

Abstract: The base plinth of the Dharmadhātujinālaya Caitya (object number KAT1440-005) located in front of the bāhāḥ bears an inscription accompanied by carved statues of seven individuals. These individuals are identified as Dasanārāṃ, Budhalnana (possibly Budharatna?), Rakṣmitārā, Budhamāyā, Bisunuprabhā, Māyādevi, and Choti. However, the inscription itself does not provide any further information regarding their role or relationship to the caitya. It remains unclear whether these individuals were the donors of the caitya or if the caitya was established in their memory.
