Content

Abstract: During the reign of King Bhūpālendra Malla, Śākyabikṣu Deva established a caitya (KAT1450-056) at the Bāhāḥ premises. He also established a statue of Tārā each in the name of his first wife Heki, second wife Magarā, and his younger sister Hemanadhari. The statues of Tārā are yet to be identified. He also established three statues of Lokeśvara in the name of his sons. A trust was also set up to take care of the statues.
