This volume consists of two sections. The first section entitled “Life and Times of Maharaja Janga Bahadur” is a biography of Prime Minister Jaṅga Bahādura. The second section is titled “Short Sketches of the Lives of Maharaja Sir Rana Udip Singh, Maharaj Sir Bir Shum Shere and Maharaja Deva Shum Shere” are short biographies of Raṇa Uddīpa, Bīra Śamśera and Deva Śamśera. The author of the book is not mentioned.
