| Type, original: | bound book; original |
Content | |
| Abstract: | This manuscript is a casebound volume with a cloth cover. On the front cover, it mentions that this book belongs to Paṇḍi[ta] Neupāne and it was scribed by [his] brother on [VS] Monday, Caitra 1971. The handwriting shows that the manuscript is compiled by different persons over time. Pagination can be found in the first 48 pages while the 49th page contains some text and is not numbered. Pages 37-40 are blank. The pages after the 49th page are also blank. The last page has some letters and a sketch of a bird. Basically this is an Āyurveda text, probably copied from another text, but the name of the source text is never mentioned. In this text, Ayurvedic medicines for different diseases are listed. Apart from that there are some mantras, some techniques of alchemy and even some mathematical problems together with its solutions. |
