Abstract: The deed records that at Śrī Madhyapuri, Dhārṇṇaka Nanha Bhāro sold his self-possessed field named Edara to Lachmana Kastaka, a resident of Māḍuṭ-ṭikā (NS 815). Kāyastha Dharma Siṃha is the scribe and some ten names are given as witnesses.
