Type, original: original

Content

Abstract: This document, issued by Viśvakarmā Kṛṣṇarāja Bhāro of Sātigla in Lalitpur, records the consecration of a golden image of Dīpaṅkara in memory of his father Viśvakarmā Jīvaśaṅkharāja Bhāro. It begins with the record of an earlier donation—made by him together with his father—of three plots of land to the Caṭanajā Guthi in the new moon day of Viśākha in NS 718. At its beginning, it consists of a ritual declaration (saṃkalpavākya) made in that donation, followed by rules regarding ways of using the endowment for the rituals relating to the guthi. Vajrācārya Śrī Jakha Siṃha of Viṣṇuccheṃ Bāhāra was the witness to the earlier donation.
