| Abstract: |
The artworks preserved at this site appear to date to the Rāṇā period. During that time, Buddharatna Śākya installed the image of Akṣobhya here as Kvāḥpāḥdyaḥ and placed a brass toraṇa above the entrance doorway. He carried out this installation on the occasion of the marriage of his son Bhairavkara. This information was provided by Rājendra Kumāra, a member of the Śākyasaṃgha associated with this bāhāḥ. |
