[Extended abstract] This letter dated VS 1902, 13th of dark half of Jyeṣṭha is written by the ascetic Bālaśaṅkara from Delhi to King Rājendra. He reports about the news published regarding the punishing General Bhīmasena Thāpā by putting him to death for some accusations. It mentions that a collection of newspapers had been dispatched. The document also states that he is sending another five copies of newspapers along with this letter. It then mentions the spreading of the rumour regarding the news published in English that stated that in the night of the 17th of May of the year, the court took a decision against Commander-in-Chief Bhīmasena Thāpā, and that he was assassinated.
