श्रीदुर्गाज्यू\[royal seal]1स्वस्तिश्रीगिरिराजचक्रचूडामणिनरनारायणेत्यादिविविधविरुदावली[1r]
Hail! [A decree] of him who is shining with manifold rows of eulogy [such as] 'The venerable crest-jewel of the multitude of mountain kings' and Naranārāyaṇa (an epithet of Kṛṣṇa) etc., high in honour, the venerable supreme king of great kings, the thrice venerable great king, Surendra Vikrama Śāha Bahādura Samśera, the brave swordsman, the divine king always triumphant in war.
Āge: To the subjects of the city of Bhaktapura [and] to Lakṣmīnarasiṃha Chipā of Golmāḍhi Ṭola.
Build 1 water mill at the confluence giving rise to the Suītī [River], [at the place] bordered by barren government land to the east, south, west and north. Lakṣmīnarasiṃ Chipā having convinced neighbours and the birtā-holders in surrounding areas to make a water channel for the water mill at this same place, we have received 20 rupees as baksāunī for 1 water mill through Sāhu Sadāśiva. Pay the yearly tax (potā) equivalent to twelve thousand [rupees] and enjoy the use of the water mill, considering it as [your] own sunā-birtā.
[Vikrama] era year 1913.
