Abstract
A statue of Tripurasundarī having been stolen from her temple in Bhaktapur, this letter from the Choṭī Jaṅgī Koṭvālī of Bhaktapur asks the Guṭhī Bandobasta to send written acknowledgement of having received the detained priest Durgācarṇa Karmācārye sent to them.

A purjī from the Bhā. Cho. Jaṃ. Ko.1 to the Guṭhī Bandobasta [Aḍḍā] of Śrī 5 Sarkāra.
Uprānta: In pursuance of the letter from your (lit. that) office, Durgācaraṃ Karmācārjye, priest of the Tripurasundarī [temple] and resident at Tulāche Vidyāpīṭha in Bhādagāu, was detained and has been sent off [to your office] together with this [letter]. It would be good if your office would send written acknowledgement to our (lit. this) office after receiving [the detainee into custody].
