The Sindhupalchok Māla had previously requested that office (i.e., the Guṭhī Bandobasta Aḍḍā) to search for and send the toka sadara and, if necessary, to detain KharidāraMaṅgaladāsa and inquire into the matter. However, the Guṭhī Bandobasta Aḍḍā neither found the document nor was able to detain the man. Therefore, the office requested the Māla to clearly record the following year’s expenses of the temples and, if a copy of the toka sadara of the previous year turned up in the office, to send a copy of it.
The Tripurasundarī and Vatsalā temples referred to in the document are located in Tauthali and Thampal villages, respectively, in Sindhupalchok district.
