Hail! A letter from SubedāraNainasīṃ Thāpā
Āge: to Syāmadhara Kaṭhāyet
It is learnt that a mohara maintaining the [following] earlier practice was issued by -2- (i.e. Śrī 5 Sarkāra1 ): ''You shall enjoy 1 pāthī of jhusyā2 from each household of the subdivision [as remuneration for the ritual duty of] carrying the staff3 of -1- (i.e. the glorious goddess Tripurasundarī4 ) located in the Tripurākoṭ subdivision of Jumla district, as has been done customarily.'' Persuant to [the mohara], we, too, issue this signed appointment [letter].
Sunday, the 11th day of the bright fortnight of Phāguṇa of [Vikrama] era year 1902 (1846 CE). Auspiciousness.
