The venerable Prime Minister - 2

Hail! A letter of the venerable prince, son of a prince, Major General Kṛṣṇadhvaja Kũvara Rāṇā1

Āge: To ThānīVīsnupada Pādhyā

Yathocita uprānta: It is learned that a sanada relating to the guṭhī of - [1] - (i.e. glorious Tripurasundarī2 ) in Trīpurākoṭa was issued in your name and that you were consuming [the surplus]. When in the [Vikrama] era year 1911 Ranubhupāla Sāhī and others took 50 rupees more [than they should have], having won a [revenue-collection] paṭṭā through a fraudulent inquiry, you went to the Kacaharī3 of the Kausala4 with a petition and brought [a document] in our name [with] the signature of [our] respected elder brother -2- (i.e. the venerable Prime Minister5 ), which states: “Withdraw Ranubhupāla Sāhī’s paṭṭā and restore the appointment of the local man of standing Vīsnupada Pādhyā to the guṭhī of - [1] - (i.e. glorious Tripurasundarī6 ).” Therefore, in accordance with the signature we have put our signature to your [re]appointment [to the guṭhī].

Sunday, the 7th day of the dark fortnight of Śrāvaṇa [in the Vikrama] era year 1912 (1855 CE). Auspiciousness.
