1⟪5⟫1⟪१/२⟫1⟪नं४⟫⟪1नं.१३४१नगराचलाउने⟫1[?]सालमाThis rukkā from King Surendra, signed by Jaṅga Bahādura Kũvara Rāṇā, Baṃ Bāhādura Kũvara Rāṇā, and Kṛṣṇa Bāhādura Kũvara Rāṇā, issued in VS 1908 (1851 CE), grants Subbā Dayākarṇā and Subbā Phuṃhaṃ Jita of Maivā [and] Piluvā Kholā, Chainpur (text: Cainapura) district, the right to obtain and play nagarā kettledrums, like those played by the subbās of Dasa Limbuvān. This right extends to military activities and playing in the company of high-ranking officials (bhāradāra) on specific occasions.
This document is one of several similar rukkās in the present corpus (E_3345_0008, E_3345_0009, E_3345_0010, E_3345_0011, E_3345_0012, E_3345_0013) all issued on the same date, and authorizing certain Limbu subbās in the district of Chainpur to obtain and play nagarā kettledrums in military activities. The documents differ only in their addressees and minor orthographic details due to different scribes. For a translation and discussion, refer to the edition of E_3345_0008.
