Written [by] Buddhidhara Bhusāl, resident of Sīrā Ulāsīma in Hīryā1 , Purkoṭ. Āge: I have received, [including] the earnest money, an amount of mohara rupaiyā 326, in words three hundred twenty-six, from Tīla Brāhmaṇa, resident of Belbās in Pyuṭhānā, for the 12-year-old domestic servant Hirī, a female slave in our house. I have written the paramabhaṭṭā deed for the aforementioned slave Hiri. I have freely and of my own will written the paraṃbhaṭṭa, stating that the period for returning [the slave] is 7 days under the Ain, and if there is a dispute regarding deficiencies [of the slave], I will return your money and take back the slave.
Friday, the 27th solar day (gate) of Māgha in the [Vikrama] era year 1976 (1920 CE). Auspiciousness.
