श्री \⟪नं३०⟫⟪27⟫1⟪१८२नं⟫[fingerprint of Dhanīrām Jaisī]1साछी[fingerprint of Bhīma Lāl Jaisī]1ऐचुदराव[1r]
This paramabhaṭṭā deed formalizes the sale of a 25-year-old female slave Lokī and her two-year-old daughter Yemī by their owner, Dhanīrām Jaisī. The slaves were sold to Cetmāṃ Siṃ Ghartī Chetrī for 410 mohararupaiyās. Both the seller and the buyer are residents of Cudarā Village, Bādīkoṭ, Pyuthana. The deed was prepared by the scribe Vīra Bhaṃjana Ghartī Chetrī at the house of a moneylender (sāhu) Jotīkhara Pādhyā.1 The transaction was also presumably performed at the same place. There are seven witnesses to the transaction, namely Bhīma Lāla Jaisī, Sambhu Ghartī Chetrī, Jagat Bāhādura Ghartī Chetrī, Gopāl Pādhyā, Jotikhara Pādhyā and the scribe Vīra Bhaṃjan Ghartī Chetrī himself. The deed is dated Sunday, the 16th solar day (gate) of Śrāvaṇa in VS 1978 (1921 CE).
