In this letter or note, Charles Attwood Knyvett-Hough asks to sign receipts for interest on the Government Promissory notes purchased by Candra Śamśera for the establishment of the Slave Emancipation Trust Fund.

2With reference to His Highness the Maharaja's letter dated the
327th April 1925 regarding payment of interest on certain
4Government Promissory notes I enclose a form of receipt
5for interest on the notes and would request that it may
6kindly be filled in , signed by the holder and returned to me
7as early as convenient to enable me to pay the interest due up to
8 half year ending 14th April 1925.
