⟪126⟫1स्याहामोहर•1श्रीसिद्ध¯¯¯⟪1रुजुदुरुस्तछIn the executive order (rukkā) of which the present document is a copy, the king [of Salyan, Raṇabhīma Śāha]1 confirms a grant originally offered by his father [Śrīkṛṣṇa Śāha] to Siddha [Bhagavantanātha]. The grant in question is a village named Sisavā in Sunāra. Bhagavantanātha's successor, Bhuvaneśvaranātha (text: Bhuvaṇesvaranātha), is authorized to use the land controlled by the village as a birtā.
The document is dated Tuesday, the 1st of the dark fortnight of Āṣāḍha in the [Vikrama] era year 1854 (1797 CE).2
The authenticity of the copy is attested by Chetranātha's disciple, Lokanātha, and a second person whose signature is partly illegible (ḍiṭṭhā (?) Dyotīprasāda). It was probably prepared in VS 1964 and sent from Salyan to Kathmandu in support of a petition from Lokanātha to be recognized as successor to the abbatial throne in Rānāgāũ (see K_0469_0033).
An edition of the document containing a number of variant readings is published in Naraharinātha VS 2022: 460. For an English translation of the text and further discussion, see K_0123_0050.
