Abstract

The votive inscription engraved on a copper flag hung on the front part of the Buṅgadyaḥ chariot above the sanctum records the flag's donation by Kṛṣṇa and Māyā Maharjana and their family members.

We, Kṛṣṇa Maharjana, the husband, the venerable Māyā Maharjana, the wife, Maṅgala Kṛṣṇa Maharjana, the son, and Puṣpā Maharjana, his wife, and the daughters and son-in-laws, Babitā Maharjana and Rājeśa Maharjana, Maiyā Maharjana and Prakāśa Maharjana, and Sarīta Maharjana and Rājendra Maharjana, offered [this flag].
