[An embossed image of a flower]

[Donated by:] Bhāvanā, Sacinalāla, Biniṣā, Bipāśā, Subhājalāla, including the entire Ācārya family. [On] the ... solar day of the 4th [month] (i. e. Śrāvaṇa) in the [Vikrama era year] 2072 (2015 CE).

Commentary

This is one of four documented inscriptions engraved on metal flags (patāḥ) hung on the Buṅgadyaḥ chariot, the others being NHDP_0001_0161, NHDP_0001_0162 and NHDP_0001_0166. Whereas NHDP_0001_0161, NHDP_0001_0162 and NHDP_0001_0165 are still being hung from the pinnacle of the front part of the chariot, NHDP_0001_0166 which was offered by Juddha Śamśera Rāṇā in 1944 (2001 VS) is preserved in Patan Museum.
