1᠀श्रीयोतुसंवत७५४चैतशुक्लपंचम्यांतिथ्वमृगसिलनक्षतेश्वभानजोग्यवुधवारस﹨﹨थ्वकुन्हुदुता﹨﹨श्रीगुनदेव﹨﹨श्रीसुलादेव﹨﹨श्रीलन्हमुनिश्रीदेवजोतिश्रीकल्यानसिङMay all be well. A group of eight individuals—ŚrīGunadeva, Śrī Sulādeva, Śrī Lanhamuni, Śrī Devajoti, Śrī Kalyānasiṅa, Śrī Kutu, Śrīmati Rathana, and Śrī Candramuni—offered (the tympanum) on Wednesday, the fifth day of the bright fortnight of the lunar month of Caitra in NS 754. This day fell under the Mṛgasirā constellation and and the Sobhana conjunction. The group was led by Śrī Surādeva. In addition, they also offered a Buddhagīta (a song dedicated to the Buddha).
The text is inscribed on the wooden tympanum (toraṇa) above the entrance of main shrine (āgama) of Vaṃ Bāhāḥ. It is written in the Pracalita Newa script.
