1᠀ॐनमोवुद्धाय||दानवराजनिदेशितधर्म्मपूजिSvasti. Oṃ. Obeisance to the Buddha. The dharma taught by Dānavarāja is revered and endowed with precious jewels. I bow to the glorious Jinapadmakara, who has dispelled a thousandfold illusions. The five senior-most male members of the bāhāḥ—ŚrīBhāsiṃdeva, Śrī Devarathana, Śrī Candrasiṃha, Śrī Maṃjusiṃhaju, and Śrī Maṃjudeva—constructed the temple (devala) of Śākyamuni, constructed a pura1 , and had (its roof) tiled by bricklayers (āva). They offered a golden pinnacle (gajurī) after performing a fire-sacrifice at Sūrya Varṇa Mahāvihara on Sunday, the third of the bright fortnight of the lunar month of Jyeṣṭha, under the constellation of Mṛgaśirā and the conjunction of Dhṛtī, in NS 785 (1665). In addition, they donated a triple-tiered parasol (chatra) and a flag (dhvaja). May all be well. Earlier, on the third day of the dark fortnight of lunar month of Vaiśākha in NS 778 (1658), the members of community (sarvasaṃgha) of this monastery consecrated the fully gilded image of glorious Śākyamuni Bhaṭṭāraka. The gilding of the deity was carried out at the residence of Mañjusiṃha. Subsequently, the same five senior members utilized the income of the deity to commission the creation of a a large copper cooking pot (jaḥsi) a silver chain, and two silver lotus flowers. May auspiciousness prevail. This work was undertaken by the group led by venerable master (text: śrī guluju).
