1स्वस्तिनेपाराव्दे﹨﹨विन्दुपर्व्वतनागसंजुते:मासेकार्त्तिकशुक्लतृतीया[...]Kṛṣṇamuṇi Śākyavaṃśa, together with his grandmother Jñānadharī, his wife (Śanabha)rī, his daughter Candravatī, Cikaṭī (likely his brother’s wife), and his granddaughters Dhanalakṣmī, Gunalakṣmī and Jayalakṣmī, all residents of Sūrja Vantā Mahāvihāra, offered a Dharmadhātucaitya and a golden doorway (suvarṇa duvāra) to the Daśavala Bhaṭṭāraka (Buddha) in the name of Jñānadharī’s two deceased sons, Dharmādeva and Bhāgīdeva. The donation was made on the third or fourth day of the bright fortnight of the lunar month of Kārtika, a Thursday, under the constellation Mūla and the conjunction Dhṛti, in NS 870. The inscription expresses the wish that this meritorious act fulfill the donors’ aspirations according to the religious texts.
Dhajarāja Vajrācārya of Bubahāra also made an offering to the twice-venerable deity. The inscription concludes with a customary warning that anyone who destroys this religious gift will incur the five great sins, and ends with an auspicious benediction.
