Abstract

A copperplate inscription affixed to the left side of the doorway of the Kvāḥpāḥcheṃ at Vaṃ Bāhāḥ, recording a praise of the Pañcabuddha.

3रत्न­श्रीपंचबुद्ध­भगवान­की­जे­:॥

Synopsis

The inscription opens with an invocation—“Save me, Mother! Save me, Mother!”—and proceeds to extol the Pañcabuddha as venerable deities. It conveys salutations to the Buddha, the dharma, and the saṅgha, the triratna (three jewels), as well as to the Five Buddhas. The record concludes with the date, VS 2012.
