Synopsis
This lālamohara issued by King Gīrvāṇa on the 1st of the bright fortnight of Āṣāḍha in the [Vikrama] era year 1859 is about the land endowment to the guṭhī of the deity Viśaṅkhunārāyaṇa. As stated in the document, the king made a ritual declaration (saṃkalpa) for the establishment of the Viśaṅkhunārāyaṇa Guṭhi in VS 1859. The document mentions the borders of the endowed 15 ropanīs of land located at Viśaṅkhu. The document further mentions the following people who were present as witnesses during the process when the borders of the endowed land was fixed: the cautariyās Raṇa Udyota Sāha, Samarasera Sāha, Vidura Sāha and Serabahādura Sāha; the divānaRaṇajit Pāḍe and the kājīs Tribhuvana and Narasiṃha. Daivajña Kesarī Paṇḍita read out the ritual declaration, while Kāji Kirttimāna Siṃha poured water. Similarly, Śrīharṣa Paṃtha, Daivakeśrī Arjyāla, Bhānu Pādhyā Khanāla, Jagajīt Pāḍe, Vīru Boharā and Vaṃsavīra Rānā determined the borders of the four sides of the land. Further, the first table provides the calculation of the income of the guṭhi land and the second table provides various expenses of the temple.
