var. bhāḍa; n. untouchable caste fellows whose members have the profession of singing, dancing and begging for their livelihood. The caste of Bhā̃ḍas is similar to the caste of Vādīs in the Mulukī Ain's caste hierarchy (MA-54.160.17).
