kamānḍarī kitābakhānā

Notes var. kamyānḍarī°; n. personnel office of the commander-in-chief maintaining a book or a register recording the names and emoluments of all the civil and military employees of the state. It was set up by Jaṅga Bahādura Kũvara Rāṇā in 1848. Its executive head was usually a subbā or a kharidāra (Kumar 1967: 103)
