⟪1(१४)⟫⟪1४१८⟫1मार्फत्धनसुंन्दरThis lālamohara from King Surendra, issued in VS 1915 (1858/59 CE), records and confirms a transaction involving a sunābirtā sold by Harkamāna Siṃ Śreṣṭha, living at Piṃbāhāla’s Jalamaṇḍapapokhari in the city of Patan’s Nakabahila Ṭola, to Śrīkṛṣṇa Śreṣṭha, a resident of the same place. The document specifies the plot in question as being land for house construction (pātāla), its location as north of the path at Jalamaṇḍapapokhari, and its area as 1 khā, 3 javās and 11½ hātas, the borders of which are clearly described. The sunābirtā was sold for 157½ rupees and a 10% transfer tax (dasauda) of 15¾ rupees was paid through SubbāDhana Sundara. The document confirms that the buyer holds his new possession as a sunābirtā.1
