This mohara, issued on Wednesday, the 3rd of the bright fortnight of Caitra in VS 1882 (1826 CE) to Raghuvīra Gugala and Naṃnārāyaṇa Gugala, records a guṭhī-endowment made by King Rājendra. This document is issued in accordance with a vow made by the grandmother of the king to donate a field in Bhaktapur producing 16 muris of rice to the trust for the annual worship of deity Sūryavināyaka.
The addressee are ordered to cultivate the granted guṭhī-land and to utilize the income of the land for the worship the god with the materials mentioned in an appended list. The temple priest is allowed to enjoy the income remaining after expenses have been met and is asked not to hinder the worship of the god. After specifying the border demarcations of the land, the document provides the following list of persons who were present while making the guṭhī-endowment and who were involved in setting the boundary markers: Yadunāth Paṇḍit Arjyāl, Bhīmsen Thāpā, Gaṇapati Panta, Harivaṃsa Boharā, Nekusiṃ Dangol, Punasiri Dangol, Vinnara Dhalapā, Asārāma Dhalapā, Lapu Pradhāna, Cikiṃ Dhana, Juvā Gugala, Hemanta, Śaṃkhanārāna, Lakṣmīnārān Cālise, Lachiman Thāpā, Jujumanī Juvāra, Pradhān Juvāra, Govardhana, Dhanavīra Khatrī, Abhaya Siṃ Mahar, Raṇasiṃ, Kesara Siṃ Dhalapā, Krishna Dhalapā, Devī Duvār and Gaṅgādatta.
The materials in the attached list were meant to be used in the annual worship ceremony performed on the 4th of the bright fortnight of Bhādra, the birthday of the god Ganesh.
