[Synopsis]
This lālamohara, issued on Wednesday, the 13th of the bright fortnight of Caitra in VS 1879 (1823 CE) to Jayanta Khatrī, records a guṭhī-endowment made by King Rājendra on Wednesday, the 5th of the dark fortnight of Māgha in VS 1879 for the worship of Bhāleśvara. The endowment consists of two plots of land measuring 15 ropanīs in total located around Cindu: one fallow alluvial paddy field (bā̃jho bagara) measuring 5 ropanīs and one plot of dry land (pākho) measuring 10 ropanīs. The addressee is ordered to cultivate the granted guṭhī-land, to include the planting of a flower garden. Further, the document defines the following purposes for which the income derived from this land should be made use of: the regular (nitya), occassional (naimittika) and morning and evening worship, and the renovation of the temple, including its roof and the ghāṭa (ritual bathing place). The temple priest is allowed to enjoy the remaining income after expenses. After specifying the border demarcations of both plots of land, the document provides the following list of persons who set out boundary markers:1 Modanātha Arjyāla, Mardana Siṃ Rānā, Daṃgola Vilavanta of Majākadevala Ṭola, Daṃgola Jagata Siṃ of Ṭiṃgala Ṭola, Vasiṣṭa Pādhyā, Harivaṃsa Pādhyā Paṃḍita, Raghunātha Pādhyā Adhikārī, Śrīkṛśna Pādhyā Adhikārī, Śrīvilāsa Pādhyā Adhikārī, Vireśvara Pādhyā Adhikārī, Harinaṃda Pādhyā Adhikārī, Karnavīra Thāpā, Akaradhvaja Thāpā, Kṛśnapati Jaisī, Dhanapati Jaisī, Achetānaṃda Pādhyā Adhikārī, Cakradhvaja Sāhi, Vāga Siṃ Thāpā, Sivabhakta Pādhyā Parājulī, Nārāyaṇa Giri Gosāñīṃ from the Cinduamālīs, Vīrabhadra Thāpā of Khopāsī, Kṛśnadatta Jhā, Nainasiṃ Thāpā, Atirūpa Khatrī, Udai Siṃ Khatrī, Pradhāna Mahādeu, Vākā (?)
