Notes | also known as Khaḍkā Koṭa, Khaḍkākoṭa, Khaḍagākoṭ;
see also under Śrīgāũ;
the first reference to "Khaḍagakoṭ" is found in a syāhāmohara of Śrīkṛṣṇa Śāha granting Bhagavantanātha different revenues (such as the forest tax) in 1776/77 (VS 1833, see summary in K_0469_0017 [doc. 6]);
a syāhāmohara of Śrīkṛṣṇa Śāha, issued in 1781 (ŚS 1702), mentions that Bhagavantanātha received "Pedā of Kharkākoṭa" (Naraharinātha VS 2022: 459) / "° Khaḍagākoṭ" (K_0469_0017 [doc. 12]); Bouillier discussing this document suggests that Kharkākoṭa is another name of Śrīgāũ (Bouillier 1991: 13), table 21 in K_0469_0017 lists "Kharkākoṭ together with Pedā" under the heading "[birtās] in Dang";
a lālāmohara of King Rājendra issued in the name of Rūpanātha in 1820 (VS 1877) mentions "Khaḍkākoṭa"(K_0469_0018) / "Khaḍkā Koṭ" (Naraharinātha VS 2022: 461) / "Khaḍagākoṭ" (K_0469_0017 [doc. 4]) as one of the confirmed birtās in Deukhuri;
