daughter of Nayana Siṃha Thāpā and Rānā Kumārī Pā̃ḍe, sister of Māthavara Siṃha Thāpā; sixth Mahārānī of King Raṇabahādura Śāha (m. 1805);

wrote a treatise on Rājadharma (commentary to the Mahābhārata); had the Dhārahara tower constructed usually attributed to Bhīmasena Thāpā, and the Tripureśvara Mahādeva temple at Tripureshwar, South Kathmandu;
